The Gathering Place continues to make a name for Tulsa all over the country.
MEEKS GROUP was recently in Las Vegas to accept an award for the work on the wide format signage for the Gathering Place’s opening campaign. We were honored as a winner of the "Best Wide Format Awards" from Big Picture magazine at the ISA International Sign Exposition held in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada at the end of April.

The Gathering Place was recently named the best new attraction in the United States from USA Today. With their cutting edge publicity and marketing approach, the Gathering Place found a good partner in MEEKS GROUP. Our reputation for innovation and customer service has continued since 1961. “We excel at taking client ideas and translating them into physical form,” said Jerry Crockett, MEEKS GROUP co-owner. “Every day we build upon our reputation for tackling the most exciting projects,” added Kathy Lemmons, co-owner. “Tulsa is our home, and we want to help promote it by creating amazing work.”
MEEKS GROUP extends sincere thanks to Katie Bullock and Albert Popalis of The Gathering Place for trusting MEEKS GROUP with this project.
Other thanks go out to Adrienne Palmer, Editor-in-Chief and the staff of Big Picture magazine along with ST Media Group International, hosts of the awards at the ISA International Sign Expo, and sponsors HP and Fujifilm.
The BOK Center
The BOK Center’s installation to removal was 100 days. The sun and stainless surface was not a problem and it was done cleanly and quick after the 100 days.
The Tulsa City Hall Sky Bridge
The Sky Bridge wrap installation was done across Cincinnati and across 1st Street. These are major downtown roads, so installation was done on early Saturday morning.
